The calorie content in bacon varies based on its serving size as well as its method of preparation. Bacon can be cooked in different ways; you may broil it, grill it, roast it or pan fry it. The calorie content in bacon slices also depends upon the thickness of these slices. One strip of a cooked average thickness bacon slice has 41-46 calories, two strips of similar bacon slices contain 82-92 calories, 3 slices of cooked average thickness slice has 123-138 calories, 4 slices of cooked average thickness bacon slice contain 164-184 calories and 6 strips of cooked similar bacon slices have 246-276 calories.

A thicker bacon slice would contain more number of calories. One comparatively thicker cooked bacon slice weighing around 0.4 oz contains approximately 61 calories, two thick cooked bacon slices have 122 calories and three thick cooked bacon slices have around 183 calories.

There are other bacon preparations as well that contain different number of calories. For instance a bacon sandwich containing two slices each of bacon and bread contains 365 kcal. Similarly a bacon cheeseburger which is another popular bacon dish contains as many as 555 calories.
