Tuna salad can be packed in any lunch box and works as well for your husbands as for your kid.  To make a tuna salad, you will need to break the lettuce into bite size pieces and then place it in the bottom of the container.  Now place tuna over the lettuce and add a few cherry tomatoes over it. You can also add some onion pieces and toss the salad.

To add the final touches, you can sprinkle some mozzarella cheese as well. Make sure you keep this salad refrigerated for a while. This is a very healthy recipe for anyone and works well if you eat it at home as well. Because this salad doesn’t need to be warmed, it works well for packing purpose.

Another great healthy lunch idea is to make an easy turkey BLT sandwich. For this, you will need to get some cooked turkey bacon and whole wheat bread and then spread some low fat mayo to one slice of bread.  Put a few sliced tomatoes over this mayo and top it up with lettuce and turkey bacon.

You can even toast your bread to make this sandwich. If you are someone who likes a lot of mayonnaise, then you can even spread some on the other slice of bread as well.  Some people might want to use multigrain bread, which too works wonderfully for this healthy lunch recipe.

3. Healthy egg sandwich

For this healthy and tasty sandwich, you will need to do some planning a night before because the eggs need to be boiled on the previous night.  For making this sandwich, you will first have to mix 1 tbsp. of reduced fat cream cheese with 1 tbsp. of mustard. To it add some pepper and salt.

Now spread this mixture over either a slice of multigrain bread or whole wheat bread.  You can also use some pickle with this sandwich as it will add to the taste.  Put the boiled eggs to this sandwich as well.
