Beer is one of the widely spread beverages across the globe and Miller Brewing Company is the brand name that occupies the top most position in the beverage market. Miller light beer was probably the first mainstream beer of “lite” category. Their special brewing produced a lite beer that was less alcoholic yet really tasty and they named it as “miller lite beer”. Other two products of the same company are Miller Genuine Draft and Miller High Life.

Miller lite beer is not the usual beer that is seen in the market. There are many ingredients that are added to make it something different from available beer of the market. The manufacturer added some kind of extra chemical ingredients like propylene glycol, alginate carbon dioxide, chemically modified hop extracts, yeast as fermenting agent, and water as a diluter.
350g of miller lite beer contains 3.2 g of carbohydrates and it can produce 96 calories of energy. 350 g of miller lite beer contain 0.9g of protein which contributes 2% of energy in the energy index. Some liquid sugar is added to the mixture to give sugary taste and some food color is used for coloring the mixture. Potassium metabisulfite is used as the preserving agent in miller lite beer. This kind of beer contains 4.2% alcohol by volume. Miller Lite contains barley malt, corn syrup, amyloglucosidase, carbon dioxide, liquid sugar, papain enzyme, and Emka malt (a food coloring agent) as ingredients.

This beer is fat free, but has a certain amount of carbohydrate, thus excessive consumption can lead to increased body weight. When consumed with some healthy snacks like fruit salad or chicken crisps, the negative effects of alcohol can be nullified to some extent. The beer has gained an optimum popularity in the countries of America for its great taste and unique advertising methods.
